I guess the telco market is relatively small in NZ but I presume you have been in touch with all the usual telcos – TelstraClear, Telecom (your ex employer) Vodafone. Also look at Alcatel as they do a fair amount of work for Telecom as far as I know.

At the timeof making my comment I was at Sydney airpport, and hadn`t started my search. I have been back a couple of weeks and hate the weather. Now I know why I left in the first place. Loking forwrd to gooing back to oz. Yea, of course A lcatel are looking for data personnel. DSL rules! and we know about lucent`s fibre technology! Other environment issues count too. Thanks for the tip,……of the iceburge!!
hi, I am still a kiwi, even thoough I have been out of the country 20 years, living in Sydney and northern NSW. I would love to come back if I could work in NZ. I worked for telecom as a linesman in the 80`s, and data technician in Sydney in the nineties. I have sales and small business experience to go.
