Hi Andy, just wanted to stop by and say hi and what a great blog site. I'm a NZ career coach, and have a published workbook called 'How to Keep Your Cool if You Lose Your Job' (Longacre Press, now part of Random House NZ) which also provides support to the newly 'surprise' unemployed.

The tips you've included here are just fantastic, well made and to the point. Like you, I've also been made redundant (and sadly had to make my team redundant) so I know exactly what it can feel like.

In researching stories for my book, I've identified a number of different responses - so if you or any of your readers would like to get hold of a copy, please get in touch or ask at your nearest bookstore.

Thanks for a great site! Kathryn Jackson
